My fibre art practice grew out of traditional quilting, but quickly evolved beyond its conventions. While I respect the discipline of the form, I am drawn to working freely, using whatever materials and techniques best serve each piece.

Inspired by the natural world, my work explores colour, texture, line, and form to evoke the joy and quiet calm found in moments like a glowing sunset or a golden autumn leaf.

I often dye and print my own textiles, and work in series to explore ideas and techniques from multiple perspectives.
