Deeply inspired by nature, Chris finds connection both while exploring the landscapes of Georgian Bay, Banff, and British Columbia, and in quieter moments outdoors. A self-taught textile artist with over a decade of experience, she creates intricate, lifelike works drawn from the natural world.

At first glance, her pieces often resemble paintings, but closer viewing reveals carefully layered, stitched, and stretched fabric compositions. Recently, Chris has expanded her practice to include 3D sculptural elements, continuing to push the boundaries of textile art through experimentation and innovation.
