Lisa Verbakel

Lisa is a self-taught artist based in London, Ontario, who works primarily in acrylics from her home studio. Inspired by nature, photography, and travel, her paintings explore movement and a sense of passage through expressive brushwork and vibrant colour, reflecting a Fauvist influence.

Her artistic path began while studying Fashion Design at Fanshawe College, and she remains actively involved in the local arts community through volunteer work with Possibilities in Paint Collaborative Art Studio and Art with Panache.
